Dixie Salad

It's just like Ambrosia, except along with all the fruit, you also add the following:

pecan halves
pomegranate seeds

So when I made it this year, I cut up 3 red delicious apples and had about one apple's worth of leftover chunks.

I used an 11-ounce can of mandarin oranges and felt like that was a better amount.

I'd say I used about ⅔ to ¾ of a pomegranate.

That might go some way toward pinning down a more precise recipe.
